BOARD APPOINTMENT – MARIE-LUCIE MORIN

 

Governor Stefan Ingves, Chair, Toronto Centre for Global Leadership in Financial Supervision, is pleased to announce the board appointment of Marie-Lucie Morin.

Ms. Morin has had an illustrious career in Canada’s Federal Public Service, including as National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister and Associate Secretary to the Cabinet, Deputy Minister for International Trade, and Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. She also served as Executive Director for Canada, Ireland, and the Caribbean at the World Bank.

 

Ms. Morin was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2016. Ms. Morin serves on corporate and not-for-profit boards. She is a member of the National Security and Intelligence Review Agency (NSIRA). 

Established in 1998, Toronto Centre is a non-profit organization that promotes financial stability and financial inclusion by building the capacity of financial supervisors and regulators. Toronto Centre receives institutional support from Global Affairs Canada, Sida, and the IMF.
