Program Description
This program will empower supervisors to better understand Digital Financial Services (DFS) and the implications of these emerging technologies. DFS have grown rapidly in many countries, offering the potential to increase financial inclusion and spur innovation and competition in the financial sector.
Participants will learn through group activities and case studies how to assess the risks in DFS products and processes, the potential threats to financial stability and market conduct mandates, and how to formulate an appropriate supervisory strategy.

QUIZZES AND EXAMS
Quizzes and an examination will be administered during the program. Daily multiple-choice quizzes test theoretical knowledge, while a final exam tests practical applications of the program content. Participants must pass the quiz a final exam in order to proceed in obtaining the CFS.

VIRTUAL NETWORKING SESSION
Participants are expected to join an icebreaker session Wednesday, September 3, 2025. This will be a good opportunity for participants to virtually meet and network with their international peers.
Who Should Attend
Mid-to senior-level supervisors and regulators supervising the banking, securities, insurance sectors, including digital financial services in those sectors.
This is a Level 2 elective for participants currently pursuing our Certified Financial Supervisor (CFS) designation. If you are interested in enrolling in the CFS designation, please fill out this application.
This program is also open to participants who are not pursuing the CFS designation.
Participants should have at least three years of working experience in financial sector supervision, analysis, policy or enforcement, and be proficient in English.
