Pensions Programs

Toronto Centre offers programs for regulators and supervisors in the pensions sector that take a practical look at the sector’s most pressing issues.

Program topics can include:

  • Managing pension entities under stress
  • Ideas for effective resolution
  • Understanding the probability and impact of potential risks, in particular funding and investment risks, faced by pension plans
  • How to allocate finite resources to target the highest risks
  • Mitigating actions on pension funds or plans
  • What legal, accounting, technical, financial, and managerial criteria should apply to pension funds and plans

Programs also provide participants with the leadership skills they need to effectively implement change in their home agency. A full list of our training topics can be found here.

Like all Toronto Centre programs, our pensions programs are highly interactive and practical, using case studies, group discussions, and breakout sessions to foster debate and effectively transfer knowledge between presenters and also amongst participants. Our courses are taught by expert program leaders who have often experienced the cases they present. They are recognized and respected internationally for their knowledge, experience, and leadership abilities.
