Toronto Centre’s insurance programs offer regulators and supervisors of the insurance sector the opportunity to discuss the current challenges they are facing and examine solutions. They aim to give participants the tools and leadership skills they need to promote improved financial stability and crisis management through better regulation and supervision. We focus on a risk-based approach to supervision and early intervention techniques, and examine topics such as macroprudential surveillance and good governance.

Like all Toronto Centre programs, our insurance programs are highly interactive and practical, using case studies, group discussions, and breakout sessions to foster debate and effectively transfer knowledge between presenters and also amongst participants. Our courses are taught by expert program leaders who have often experienced the cases they present. They are recognized and respected internationally for their knowledge, experience, and leadership abilities.
