We are sad to report the death last week of Paul Cantor, the first Executive Director (CEO) of Toronto Centre.
The Board of Directors of Toronto Centre for Global Leadership in Financial Supervision (Toronto Centre) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stefan Ingves as Chair and Ms. Maureen Jensen as Vice-Chair of Toronto Centre.
2018 is shaping up to be another productive year. We have already delivered 25 capacity building programs in 14 different countries, two of which were our international programs held in Toronto. We were very pleased to welcome participants to our 3rd annual Core Curriculum Certificate Program in May and to our flagship International Banking Program in June.

The panel was introduced by Rob Stewart, Canada’s G7/G20/FSB Deputy and Associate Deputy Minister of Finance, and Tobias Adrian, Financial Counsellor and Director, Monetary and Capital Markets Department, International Monetary Fund (IMF). They talked about the G7 and G20 agendas and the IMF’s efforts in relation to cyber risk. Cyber risk has been identified as a major issue by both the G7 and the G20, and the IMF.
In honour of our 20th anniversary, we are undertaking a number of initiatives that we wanted to share with you.
