Toronto Centre has three advisory boards – banking, insurance and pensions, and securities – that report to the Board of Directors through the advisory board chairs. Advisory board members are seasoned regulators and supervisors from different parts of the world. They suggest themes and issues to be discussed in programs and case studies. Advisory board members also recommend potential program leaders, provide valuable contacts and promote Toronto Centre.
Clive Briault became Chair of Toronto Centre’s Banking Advisory Board in 2015. Former senior adviser on regulation at KPMG; Consultant to the IMF, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank. Former Managing Director of Retail Markets, Director of Central Policy, and Director, Prudential Standards at the Financial Services Authority.

Former Inspector of Financial Institutions, Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago; former Senior Director – Banks and Insurance Companies/Pension Plans, Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions.
